The Island in Pigeon Forge

The largest New Year’s Eve celebration in the Smokies, without a doubt, goes to The Island in Pigeon Forge. The Island is once again hosting their annual New Year’s Eve free concert and fireworks display on Wednesday, December 31st. The fun begins at 10am and lasts through midnight with an amazing fireworks show. This display can be seen from all around the area.
Come celebrate and make cherished family memories together all while ringing in the New Year in spectacular fashion. It’s sure to be a day of family fun and incredible midnight fireworks, so come prepared to kick off 2026 with a bang!

Dollywood's New Year's Eve Celebration

This family-friendly celebration, complete with a fireworks show, begins at 11am and continues through 9pm. Be mesmerized by the million of Christmas lights throughout the park, enjoy the rides, take in some shows, and don’t forget the holiday treats!
The fireworks show will begin at 8:30pm, but if you feel like leaving early to avoid the long crowd delays at the end of the event but still want to enjoy the fireworks display, head back to our condo!! Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the show in the comfort of your family and friends. No better way to ring in the New Year with your own personal fireworks show right from our balcony!!

Downtown Gatlinburg Ball Drop

If you’d rather ring in the New Year in Gatlinburg, their annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks show will take place at the base of the Space Needle. The fun begins at 10:30pm with the main event happening at midnight.
The ball drops from the Space Needle with a drone show starting around 11:50pm and ends with the fireworks finale.
